Amplify East - Amplifying Voices of Women in Atlantic Canada

Emily Rankin

I met Vanessa from Amplify East in the fall of 2018 when she was the morning keynote speaker at BlogJam Atlantic where I volunteered to photograph the event. (Highlights can be found here)

She told us about the passion project she created where she highlights amazing women from all over Atlantic Canada and shares their stories over at These are heart warming and inspiring stories from incredible women. I'm honoured to have my photo and my story shared right alongside of theirs.

Thank you Vanessa for the vote of confidence and for showcasing that here in Atlantic Canada "remarkable women are not a supply problem."

Find my spotlight (along with so many other amazing women) here.

BlogJam Atlantic 2018

Emily Rankin

A small glimpse into the incredible weekend I spent in Moncton attending and shooting Blog Jam Atlantic in the Fall of 2018. BlogJam is one of my favourite annual events for bloggers, social media and marketing professionals, creative entrepreneurs and digital influencers. They offer panels, workshops and access to amazing speakers during the event. This years was soooo good. I get mountains of information for my business each year but the people I meet, relationships I build and conversations I have at BlogJam is the real take away for me. I'm still processing everything I learned and all the great ideas generated. What an awesome weekend! :

A huge thank you to organizers and speaks for hosting a stellar weekend in 2018. And thank you for the chance to volunteer and take photos. BlogJam is the best! Check it out here!
