Cape Breton West Women In Business Launch!

Emily Rankin

Wow, what a night! Thank you, thank you, thank you! We are blown away and beyond grateful for all of the generous support during last night's launch of Cape Breton West Women in Business and sneak peak of the incredible new Route 19 Brewing, in Inverness!

We gathered with over 200 women, heard amazing stories and celebrated an incredible community of business women right here in our own backyard. The energy in the room was buzzing!

We're so lucky to live and work here and this is just the beginning of how we can support each other going forward. This small island is doing big, big things!

Huge thank yous to @Route 19 Brewing, all of our generous sponsors, everyone who donated to our amazing list of door prizes, The Women’s Group in Inverness, and organizers Jen Ryan and Lindsay MacIsaac-Ryan of Quincy Street Market, Desiree Campbell - Tradewinds Realty, Dr. Kristen Sutherland of Inverness Chiropractic, Taryn MacDonald of Ignite and Inspire Personal Development, Sara Rankin of Sara Rankin Creative Co and Raylene MacLean of Ray's Place and Emily Rankin of Take Note Graphic Design

Stay tuned for more exciting things coming soon :) Working together works and we’re so excited to everything to come!

Check out a peek at some of the photos I captured the the big night below!

BlogJam Atlantic 2018

Emily Rankin

A small glimpse into the incredible weekend I spent in Moncton attending and shooting Blog Jam Atlantic in the Fall of 2018. BlogJam is one of my favourite annual events for bloggers, social media and marketing professionals, creative entrepreneurs and digital influencers. They offer panels, workshops and access to amazing speakers during the event. This years was soooo good. I get mountains of information for my business each year but the people I meet, relationships I build and conversations I have at BlogJam is the real take away for me. I'm still processing everything I learned and all the great ideas generated. What an awesome weekend! :

A huge thank you to organizers and speaks for hosting a stellar weekend in 2018. And thank you for the chance to volunteer and take photos. BlogJam is the best! Check it out here!
